In line with this, we are currently seeking a sales support professional to join our TradeSupportteam based in our Taupo Branch. Close to alpine mountains, rivers and the magnificent Lake Taupo, you could be living and breathing the kiwi dream if you want to relocate !
The role: We are currently recruiting a Trade Support Team Member to join the team as a permanent full-time (40h per week across Monday to Friday and rostered Saturdays). This will be a busy yet varied role where you will be responsible but not limited to the following -
Receive incoming calls from trade customers
Give advice on PlaceMakers products and services
Follow-up customer inquiries and orders with the dispatch area.
Source and Order special goods
Handle general price enquiries
Provide backup service for Account Managers
About you: The time-sensitive nature of our customers’ needs requires you to work at pace and input data accurately and within specified timeframes. Your resilience and ability to be solution-oriented even when under pressure will certainly come in handy in this ever-changing environment. We will ideally be looking for someone who has some understanding and experience relating to the building/Trade sector, however it will be your Sales and customer service skills which we will be most attracted to. As your role will also see you liaising with other areas of the branch, you must have the ability to build rapport and enjoy a team-focused culture. You’re engaging and flexible with the ability to effectively communicate product and delivery information and have a strong customer service focus with an aim to continuously add value. Your tech savy skills, energy and your drive will be really important for this role.
