We're currently in search of a dedicated and seasoned Commercial Analyst to be an integral part of our finance department. This role is based our National Office in Auckland City. In this pivotal position, which reports to the Head of Finance, you'll be tasked with delivering detailed financial analysis, enhancing operational efficiency, and pushing the boundaries of our Power BI reporting tools.
The job calls for an enthusiast who delivers meaningful financial acumen along with strong collaborative skills to interact with crucial internal partners. Your role will involve being a trusted advisor in finance, teaming up with leadership to provide direction that fosters organisational achievements.
Experience required
Advanced familiarity with Power BI and Excel, particularly in data storytelling, financial spreadsheet construction, and reporting
Our ideal candidate will also have:
CA qualification Over 5 years’ background in large accounting firms or sizable commercial settings Exceptional analytical and critical thinking capabilities, including the interpretation and presentation of financial figures Demonstrated proficiency at transforming data into actionable insights with strategic recommendations for company enhancement A history of pioneering process innovations while participating effectively in team settings that span various business functions Stellar communication and soft skills, adept at forging solid partnerships with stakeholders from various organizational echelons Significant knowledge of advanced Accounting software and holistic systems thinking, driven by a commitment to high standards
