About the role
As a New World Associate, you’ll be working in a future-focused team responsible for driving performance through partnering with our owner-operators and their teams. You’ll also coordinate key workstreams, develop comprehensive reporting and execute key projects.

Some key responsibilities include:
· Work with the Head of New World to coordinate, document, communicate, and deliver ongoing team and banner strategies and projects.
· Be across various reports and data, find and champion any relevant information or trends.
· Be an advocate for our store teams, ensuring documentation and communications from support centre teams are fit for purpose.
· Create New World Member communications, including our newsletters, weekly sales and weekly wraps.
· Attend the BRG (New World owner committee) meetings, assisting in coordination, aligning agendas, and capturing and updating actions and summaries.
· Work with our Events and Internal Communications teams to assist with the coordination and execution of Member events, including our All Operator Meetings, and Store Manager Forums.

About you
With proven experience working in retail, you’ll also have a good understanding of New World Supermarkets and how they operate including a general understanding of systems such as SAP. You’ll be someone who is courageous, acts with integrity and the one to extra mile before being asked to, solve problems before they require escalation, and act as a trusted advisor to the Head of New World.

You’ll also have:
· Be detail-oriented with a highly organised approach, introducing structure when needed and delivering in a timely fashion.
· Be adaptable and agile to the changing demands of a high-paced environment and team.
· Have excellent communication skills with great ability to collaborate and connect with all types of people.
· Be proactive in seeking out opportunities to improve processes and drive new efficiencies.
· Have strong skills in Microsoft including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint.
