We are looking for an exceptional Technology People Lead who can inspire and guide Engineers, drive cultural transformation, and lead change effectively. If you have a proven track record in these areas, can work independently within an agreed framework, and possess strong collaboration and communication skills, we want you on our team!

As a People Lead, you’ll foster a high-performance culture by ensuring our team’s capabilities, performance, and development needs are met. You’ll provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to promote a ‘can do’ attitude and support career progression. You will collaborate with stakeholders to plan and implement effective workforce management and resourcing strategies to maximise employee and organisation performance.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • 5 + years’ experience managing technical professionals
  • Strong knowledge of Software Engineering (strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience in leading large teams
  • High level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and self-awareness
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to develop and grow high-performing people, providing role clarity, identifying talent, and maximising employee performance
  • Experience in establishing a positive culture and a healthy, safe working environment
  • Strong collaboration skills with various business areas for workforce planning
  • Experience in recruitment and managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle
