Job Description

The Role
In this role, you will work alongside qualified tradespeople and take on a range of tasks to support engineering operations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that involves:

  • Cleaning up steelwork using grinders.
  • Tidying and maintaining machinery.
  • Moving and organizing steel.
  • Operating power tools, presses, and other shaping tools.
  • General labourer duties on various construction sites.
  • This position is ideal for someone comfortable with repetitive tasks, who is physically fit, and interested in a long-term career in the engineering industry. Engineering knowledge is a bonus but not essential.


Days & Hours

  • This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday:
  • Typical hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Opportunities for overtime and weekend work are available depending on the project.


Ideal Attributes

  • Physically strong and fit for on-your-feet work.
  • Comfortable using grinders, power tools, and heavy machinery.
  • Detail-oriented, with an interest in engineering and construction.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and MOJ check.
