About the role
Ready to work for a different kind of accountancy firm? We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our supportive, friendly team!
Due to ongoing growth, we have opportunities available at a range of different levels within our accountancy team. Whether you are interested in Commercial, Farming, Accounting software, Business growth, Budgeting or Management reporting we’d like to hear from you!
Our Business Advisory team is constantly being exposed to different industries and project work that develops their knowledge and diversifies their expertise. The nature and varying complexity of our clients presents numerous unique opportunities that allow for growth and individualisation of your role. Depending on your experience and interests you could be responsible for but not limited to:
- Preparing Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns and GST for a range of clients
- Liaising with our clients to uncover their business’s needs– specifically their financial needs and goals
- Reviewing the work of and mentoring Junior Accountants
- Consulting with a range of different client structures
- Preparation of annual budgets and reforecasting
- Cashflow planning
- Use of software to prepare added valued reporting for clients including graphical reporting
- Periodic reporting and liaising with clients on metrics and drivers of their business
- Working with clients on succession planning or acquisitions

About you
You would be at an advantage if you had the following, however these are not deal breakers if you are driven and keen to learn.
- Minimum of 4 years or more working in a CA firm
- CA qualified or part way through the programme
- Proficient in the use of MYOB, XERO and accounting software
- Proven ability to find solutions to business and accounting problems
- Confidently process year end accounts from start to finish
- Passionate about supporting clients to achieve the best from their business
- Focused on quality, efficiency, and professionalism
