Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pack and unpack export and import containers, ensuring procedures are followed to prevent damage and reduce delays.
- Operate forklifts to move and handle freight safely (current forklift license required).
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments, ensuring smooth and accurate order fulfillment.
- Keep the warehouse organized and adhere to safety regulations to maintain a clean and productive environment.
- Collaborate with team members and departments to streamline processes and resolve issues as they arise.
- Identify and report discrepancies in shipments, helping to resolve issues before they escalate.
What You Need:
- Experience in the freight industry, particularly with packing and unpacking containers (preferred).
- A valid forklift license with an F endorsement for a rating of over 2.5 tonnes.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and safely operate warehouse equipment.
- MPI AP accreditation is preferred but not essential (expired accreditation may also be acceptable).
