Logistics Assistant Our client is a New Zealand-owned and operated company specialising in geosynthetic product solutions. They are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Assistant to join their team in Islington.
This is a full-time, office-based position: Monday to Friday (8.00am-5.00pm)
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the smooth and efficient management of freight operations
Track, investigate, and provide updates on freight shipments
Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring accurate and timely handling of all freight-related tasks
Coordinate transport bookings and logistics arrangements
Assist in processing freight claims for damaged, lost, or delayed shipments
Applicants need:
Proven experience in a similar logistics role
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
Excellent customer service skills
Reliable personal transport
