Primary function: Ultimately, you are responsible for providing hospitality to our customers. You will work between the customers, kitchen team and your FOH team to deliver a high standard of customer service. You will be a senior FOH member, being a support person for the Front of House Manager. The FOH Manager will ultimately be in charge of the FOH team but will need your support on the days they are unavailable. As such, you will assist the FOH Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the FOH team, occasionally being in charge of the FOH in the absence of the FOH Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing hospitality to our customers and leading the FOH team, when required
Cash-up at the end of the day and strive to hit daily targets throughout the day
Hold a LCQ Certificate and Duty Manager license
Assist the FOH Manager in operating a cost-effective & profitable venue by keeping an eye on
staff costs and strive to increase sales. You will have authority to adjust staffing levels as days are quieter or busier if you’re in charge at that time
Assist the FOH Manager in ordering. Be careful not to over order, or leave it too late to place
order. Avoid ordering so close to the end of the month.
Provide feedback to FOH Manager regarding staff issues, quality of stock/deliveries & any other
necessary information.
Use your knowledge to help grow the knowledge of your team mates. Take time (where
applicable) to train and communicate our standard for delivering hospitality
Establish / Maintain a relationship with the kitchen team as the point of contact for communicating
to FOH when you’re in charge
Keep a clean environment, keeping surfaces and equipment clean, clearing dishes and keeping
prep spaces clean and tidy
