We are two busy Italian restaurants opposite each other in the heart of Cuba Street, with a strong focus on good quality ingredients and great service.
We are looking for 2-3 Senior Chef de parties for our busy Kitchens that are open 7 days with a focus on house made pasta and pizza.
We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of working in a busy kitchen with experience in cooking, running hot section, pans, and communicating with their peers during service.
Overall responsibility
- plan & organise the preparation & cooking of food
- order food supplies
- demonstrate techniques & advises on cooking procedures
- discusses food prep issue with managers, kitchen and wait staff
- explains and enforces hygiene regulations
- trains and helps staff
- helps plan menus
3 years of relevant experience and /or on the job training.
The position is a permanent & Fulltime role with a minimum 30 hours to a maximum 45 hours per week.
$29.66-$32 per hour
