About the role
We're looking for experienced Cleaners to join Pohutukawa Landings in Beachlands, East Auckland to work between both our new 65 bed Care Home and the communal areas within the main Retirement village amenity building. Work in this stunning village setting, with a friendly and supportive team environment.

These are permanent part time positions, with a variety of days and total weekly hours available over morning or afternoon shifts, depending on your availability and will include a weekend day, so you must be available to work in the weekend. There may also be opportunity to pick up additional hours if desired.

  • Provide exceptional cleaning support to our residents
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  • Ensuring residents belongings are treated with respect
  • Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed


About you
We are looking for experienced cleaners with the right attitude, excellent communication skills and who can work as part of a team to provide a high level of support in maintaining our care home and retirement village to a high standard. Some things that will support your application include:

  • Good level of fitness
  • Previous cleaning experience ideally in Aged Care is highly beneficial.
  • Empathy for the elderly and a love of making a difference in our residents' lives
  • Bright, hardworking "can do" attitude and a team focus
