Job Description

Haka House Hostels is looking for an energetic Individual to join our close-knit Wellington Team.

Our mission is to create unforgettable experiences at an affordable price – connecting our guests with nature and each other.

Reporting to our Hostel Manager, we are looking for a Night Manager to join our Wellington crew at our property located in the heart of the vibrant capital city!

An Idea of the Role

  • This role is required to work overnight on rostered shifts.
  • Effective supervision of late guest arrivals and early departures.
  • Health and Safety measures are followed at all times.
  • Effective management of fire evacuations.
  • Hostel reporting

Previous Hotel/Hostel Night Manager or Front office experience
Experience with financial reporting preferred
Knowledge of Mews preferred
Excellent time management & communication skills

Effective management of the hostel operations whilst on duty is a must!
