My client is a NZ owned business in growth mode in an industry that continues to front of mind for all given the environmental space they play in. The company is circa $120M turnover with 500+ staff. The company has continued to expand and is adding additional heads to the finance team to effectively support the business going forward. Based in Eden Terrace, the head office has a close knit team with an outcome focused culture where hybrid working is offered.
The Role
Reporting into the Team Leader, you will be working in a team of 6 but you will have ownership of the Accounts Payable function. This company uses Greentree so experience on this system is desirable.
Duties will include:
- Manually processing of invoices into Greentree
- Coding of invoices, authorising approvals and PO matching
- Preparing weekly, monthly and EOM batch payments
- Supplier reconciliations
- Managing the AP inbox
- Dealing with queries
- Assisting with ad-hoc duties as required
Your Profile:
We are looking for a strong Accounts Payable officer who has worked in high volume and complex environments. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships throughout the business. Although my client operates as a corporate, they have a down to earth family feel where everyone has a voice.
You will be comfortable taking ownership of the tasks at hand and you will be a career contractor who doesn’t need much hand holding in order to meet deadlines and prioritise your workload. This is a great opportunity to join a well known Kiwi business through to the New Year.
