Our client is the largest marketer of LPG in the Trans-Tasman region, supplying LPG to homes, businesses, and BBQ customers across New Zealand. With multiple locations nationwide, they are committed to providing rapid and reliable LPG delivery services, using automatic tanker and exchange delivery systems. Their dedication to customer, employee, and community safety is at the core of their operations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver / Gas Bottle Filler to join their tight-knit team in the Whangarei region.

About the Role:

  • Delivering gas bottles to customer sites
  • Interacting with customers
  • Conducting stock takes and compliance checks
  • Filling gas bottles with LPG
  • Inspecting and assessing returned gas bottles
  • Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift
  • Manually moving bottles (lifting/rolling)


Work Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Occasional weekend work may be required.


You Will Need:

  • A clean Class 2 driver's license
  • At least 2 years' experience driving a Class 2 or higher vehicle in New Zealand
  • Physical fitness (the role is physically demanding)
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • A forklift license and Dangerous Goods endorsement (these are advantageous, but the company will assist you in obtaining them if you don't already have them)
  • A health and safety focus due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Reliable transport to and from work
