Job Description

The Company
Is a leading New Zealand structural engineering consultancy with 5 offices across the country. They are well established with a long history of providing quality design and delivery to a range of projects including high-rise.

Their projects range from high end residential, sporting facilities, multi-storey, dairy & process plants through to manufacturing/storage facilities to industrial/warehousing, aged care, and general commercial development projects.

The Role

  • Design of structures
  • Communicating with clients and other consultants
  • Seismic assessments of existing buildings
  • Attending meetings externally and using Microsoft Teams
  • Managing multiple projects at any one time


About You

  • You will need to have at least 6+ years’ experience in consulting practice with good experience on similar projects.
  • Need to be good at analysis.
  • Experienced Senior Structural Engineer with experience in complex medium and high rise structures.
  • Experience with Model analysis and non-linear Time History analysis
  • You will have significant seismic design experience
  • Possess a relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • The ideal person will be of a practical nature and be able to naturally deal with clients.
