Diesel Mechanic with Hydraulics Experience We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a background in hydraulics to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work both on-site and off-site across the North Island, providing a diverse range of repair and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
Provide both on-site and off-site repair services, traveling across the North Island.
Work with a range of equipment, including trucks, heavy machinery, and other diesel-powered vehicles.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, ensuring optimum performance and safety.
Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Ensure adherence to all safety and industry regulations.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with hands-on experience working on diesel engines and hydraulics.
Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel across the North Island.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach.
