Job Description

Our client who has distribution centres in South Auckland is a currently looking for Devanners and Pick Packers who can support their permanent staff in covering shifts, operating forklifts, and devanning containers.

Duties

  • Unloading containers of stock and placing them onto pallets before strapping and wrapping them.
  • Scanning and labelling products with RF scanners.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.
  • Sort and organize incoming freight by category and destination.
  • Manually picking orders and preparing them for dispatch.
  • Limited computer work inputting data when required.


Requirements

  • Must pass all pre-employment checks including MOJ checks and drug tests.
  • Pick packing experience required.
  • Hard working and punctual.
  • Physically fit and strong, able to lift and carry 25kg’s consistently throughout the day.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and reliable.
  • Needs to have reliable transportation.
  • Great attitude and work ethic.
  • Keeping within the requirements for Health and safety.
  • Computer literate.
