We are seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join our client for work in Taupo and or the wider BOP region. Immediate work in the Commercial and or Rural sectors. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to work on a wide range of projects. Key Responsibilities:
Manage electrical projects in both Commercial and/or Rural environments.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to quote, plan, and execute projects efficiently.
Fault-find and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Foster a customer-focused approach and maintain effective communication throughout the job process.
The rural sector work includes dairy sheds, irrigation systems, effluent systems, water pumps, and control systems.
Install and service a variety of systems, including security alarms, CCTV systems, fire alarms, heat pumps, and alternative energy solutions (experience in these areas is beneficial but not essential).
About You:
A minimum of 3+ years of electrical experience.
NZ EWRB Practicing License is essential.
Strong knowledge of New Zealand Electrical Regulations.
A positive, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Previous experience across Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Rural sectors is highly valued.
Full Class 1 NZ driver’s license
