We have an opportunity for a dedicated Registered Social Worker to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a great role for someone who is looking for flexible hours and interested in working across a variety of portfolios in the Manawatu region.

About the Role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
You will be working autonomously and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team, within a best practice, person and family/whanau centred approach to assessment and rehabilitation.
As a community-based Social Worker, you will have a real passion and dedication to all aspects of service delivery and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with your clients and their families. You will work with a wide range of people with illness, injury or disabilities, providing assessment and rehabilitation programmes within their home, work or community settings.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following requirements:
NZ Registration as a Social Worker
Association membership or equivalent
Proven NZ post graduate experience of 2 years of more
Experience in delivering community based interventions
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in private practice and healthcare
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Understanding of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Clean Full NZ Drivers Licence with access to a reliable vehicle
Proficient computer and IT knowledge
