We need experienced Production Technicians to join our client in Mount Wellington! You'll be joining the production team to help mix ingredients. You won’t need a gym membership as you’ll be doing a lot of heavy lifting and climbing stairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mixing product ingredients - requires a good numeracy and literacy levels
- Heavy lifting (20-25kg) consistently of bags/boxes of ingredients
- Quality control and checking
- Accurate paperwork and decent math skills
- This is on a 2-2-3 shift based in Mount Wellington. 6AM to 6PM or 6PM to 6AM.
Starting pay rate will be $24.47 per hour, with additional allowances for night shift work and if you have forklift licence and experience.
To be successful you will need:
- Great physical fitness (very heavy lifting and stairs)
- To be comfortable with paperwork and numbers
- Comfortable working in challenging environments
- Reliable transport to and from work
- A good work reference
- Previous experience as a Production or Machine Operator
- A minimum of NZQA Level 1 Maths
- Ideally you will also have a background working / have knowledge with mixing products and lab testing the final products
You'll also need to pass pre-employment checks including a drug / alcohol test and criminal convictions check.
