We are seeking a seasoned Integration Domain Architect with a strong background in architecting, designing, and implementing integration platforms, as well as leading integration governance, adoption, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with our clients and broader team to develop integration strategies, solution architectures, and designs.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and manage team members in the delivery of client engagements.
  • Standards Implementation: Establish and implement API and integration standards to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • System Analysis: Inventory and analyse existing point-to-point and ESB/legacy data interfaces to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Project Development: Engage in all aspects of high-level planning, development, and deployment of data and system integration projects.
  • Capability and capacity management: Foster a culture of learning and development of the team for successfully delivering client solutions.
  • Business Development Support: Leveraging you knowledge and experience of participating in RFx processes, proposing creative and innovative solutions to client challenges.


Within this team, your day to day responsibilities could include:

  • Collaborate with the Real Estate team to provide advice on diverse property issues across both public and private sector clients.
  • Assist in managing and delivering client engagements.
  • Conduct research to support thought leadership and client projects.
  • Engage in comprehensive financial modeling and model reviews.
  • Prepare reports and deliverables for clients.
  • Work towards achieving industry-relevant qualifications.


Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and extensive experience - typically around 10 years - in designing and implementing large-scale integration solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in Enterprise Integration Patterns, Event Stream Processing, and Microservices architecture.
  • Strong experience with Public Cloud PaaS integration offerings, including APIs and containerisation.
  • Expertise in API Management, using tools such as Apigee and Azure API Manager for efficient API lifecycle management.
  • Practical experience with REST/JSON and SOAP/XML technologies for data exchange and integration.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Service Buses (ESBs) and Platforms, from leading software providers such as Microsoft, AWS, Mulesoft, Oracle, IBM and SAP, for robust integration solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage self and others effectively in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments, collaborate with clients, and remain receptive to feedback.
