The hours and days for this Butcher position are
Sunday to Thursday 0600 -1430

Showcase your impressive knife skills and knowledge of meat. In this hands on role, a day in the life could look like:
● Cutting, trimming and packaging meat products as well as using different machinery
● Interacting with customers helping them choose the best cuts of meat for their needs
● Maintaining great presentation for the Butchery department
● Sharing your knowledge by training and developing other team members
● Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors

In this role we are looking for our new Butcher to:
● Hold a NZ Certificate in Trade Butchery
● Have a willingness to start early and work on your feet for most of your shift
● Be a strong communicator and effectively communicate with customers and team members
● Regularly lifting up to 15kgs, bend, reach and complete repetitive movements
