Based in a fantastic modern office in the CBD offering up to 2 days WFH once up to speed. Contract position starting early January with the potential to go permanent.
The Role In this role you will report directly into the Payroll Manager as part of a team of 7. A collaborative team that relies on effective communication and teamwork, looking for a seasoned Payroll Officer to add value to the business.
Your duties will include:
Process and pay fortnightly payrolls whilst adhering to legislation and policies
Ensure accuracy through thorough approval process
Full ownership of portfolio’ i.e. starters, leavers, ad hoc changes
Assist with training new staff as required
Point of contact for staff payroll queries
Your profile:
3-4 years Payroll experience
Understanding of NZ Holidays Act and legislations
Ideally PayGlobal but open to large payroll systems experience
Team player
Effective communication
Personable nature
