Long-term opportunity for an experienced factory worker, with a well-established plastic packaging manufacturer based in Hillsborough. This is a night shift position within their factory.
Having been in operation for over 30 years, our client offers packaging solutions within a number of industries including: medical, pharmaceutical, horticultural, timber, construction, rest home and foodstuff sectors. They are continually developing quality products and compostable, bio-degradable recycling technology.
Usual shift runs from 12am-6am Monday to Friday. There is some flexibility offered around days and hours of work, with the option to work 4x 12hr shift (if preferred).
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Proven experience within a similar factory environment
- Prior experience on a night shift
- A high level of physical fitness - lifting up to 15kg
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Duties will include:
- Machine operation
- Quality control checks
- Manual handling of product - moving product to a designated area in the factory, no more than 15kgs at a time
- Standing for prolonged periods - spending the majority of the shift on your feet on the factory floor
- General factory labouring duties
