A rare opportunity has become available in our sports team for a Turf Technician. In this role you will learn all aspects of turf maintenance and renovations including aeration, scarifying, seeding, and sand topdressing utilizing small and larger tractors.
This role would suit someone looking to get a start in the turf industry, although previous experience is an advantage, full training will be provided. We can help you to achieve your Sports Turf Certificate and provide ongoing development. This role is ideal for someone who can self-manage, is reliable and takes pride in a job well done.
You will be fully supported with correct PPE and best practice training.
What you will be doing?
All aspects of turf renovations including aeration, scarifying, seeding, sand topdressing utilizing small and larger tractors.
Turf repairs on sportsfields including repairs and turfing.
Irrigation work repairs and maintenance.
Mowing covering for staff that are away, so the opportunity to upskill.
Linemarking sportsfields – how to set out a field, athletics track etc from scratch.
