FORKLIFT OPERATOR| FULL-TIME | PENROSE | Night Shift
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Forklift Operator who is looking for a challenge then this might be what you're looking for.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work with a tight crew, led by a Distribution Manager. Key responsibilities for this role to unload / load vehicles to ensure timely turnaround of road linehaul, and occasionally efficiently de-consolidate, sort, and consolidate freight into correct containers
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Ability to follow instructions well and be a team player.
- Follow OSH standards and implement procedures where necessary.
- Promote and adhere to PARCELINE EXPRESS philosophy of safe, efficient on time arrivals and departures
This is a full-time position with the workdays being Monday to Friday, with the daily hours worked to be 7:00 pm - 4:00 am.
ABOUT YOU
- Confident when operating a forklift
- Flexible and reliable
- Physically fit and active with a 'can do' attitude and likes to get the job done.
- Passionate about keeping customers happy
- High regard for Health & Safety standards
- The ability to work the night shift
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Must have a valid full class 1 NZ drivers licence
- Must have a current Forklift Licence
- Must have a clean MOJ and pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
