About the role

Discover our fish processing division located in Timaru, central to mountains, lakes, and the sea. We process various fish species from our deep-water vessels and independent ACE fishers. Our facility operates three shifts daily to support day, night, and part-time operations, while our joint venture with San Won keeps the unloading of our vessels and storage facilities busy year-round. You will find a variety of our beautiful New Zealand seafood products in our retail shop located on site.

This role is located at our Laughton Street, Washdyke site. Reporting into the Senior Material Planner, the Material Planning Administrator, will be you responsible for receiving and receipting all goods from entry into our Laughton Street facility to its final destination, returning any incorrect orders, ordering certain goods & answering queries around goods received and order updates.

Responsibilities:

  • Receipting purchase orders as stock arrives
  • Maintaining inventory levels and transfers
  • Maintaining service schedules of assets
  • Maintaining site chemical storage and compliance


About you:

You will have high levels of attention to detail and work well in a reactive environment where change is constant. With sound knowledge of software and systems (experience with D365 would be ideal, but confidence in navigating different software's is essential) you will feel comfortable learning the ropes of this new system alongside our team.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in similar Administration support role
  • Forklift license is preferable but not essential. (We will put you through your Forklift license if you don't have it).
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office
  • D365 Experience is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to learn and improve systems
  • Adaptable and flexible to change
  • Able to work between the hours of 7.30am and 4.30pm
