We are recruiting for Diesel Mechanics and or Heavy Auto Electricians with experience working on forklifts / materials handling equipment to take up multiple vacancies in Tauranga, an area that offers a great lifestyle for you and your family.

The role

  • Field service and workshop based duties
  • General servicing and maintenance to a wide variety of forklifts from small machines through to container handlers
  • Diagnostics using the latest equipment
  • Performing both minor and major repairs
  • Attending to breakdowns out in the field
  • Client liaison and clear explanation of work carried out
  • Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up to date



Skills sought

  • Although our preference is trade qualified diesel mechanics, we will consider auto electricians, diagnostic automotive technicians, and those with other relevant experience
  • 3+ years of post qualification experience working on electric, diesel, and/or LPG forklifts/materials handling equipment is highly advantageous
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Solid diagnostics experience
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • A focus on top customer service
