We are seeking skilled Heavy Machinery Operators to support our clients' project, based in South Auckland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery, including Moxy, Digger, and Spreader. This role offers long working hours with shifts available from Monday to Friday, as well as Saturdays. Pay Rates - $34 to $38 per hour, based on experience
Duties
Safely operate various heavy machinery (Moxy, Digger, Spreader, etc.)
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
Ensure efficient and effective operation to meet project deadlines
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Assist with site preparation and other construction-related tasks as needed
Skills and Experience
Excellent physical fitness
Proven experience operating a variety of heavy machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and plans
Attention to detail to ensure safety and precision in operations
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors
Strong understanding of machinery operation and maintenance
Successful Applicants must
Be happy to do hands-on work
Have a valid NZ Drivers License (Class 2 minimum)
Have your Wheels, Tracks & Rollers Endorsements
Have a proven history of Heavy Machinery experience
Return a satisfactory criminal check & pass a pre-employment drug test
