We maintain and develop electrical infrastructure assets for energy customers throughout Aotearoa. About the role
If you're a qualified Electrician with experience in the Electricity Distribution/Supply, Connetics is keen to talk to you, today. While there may or may not be current vacancies for this role in Tawa at the moment, we are seeking expressions of interest in working with us as we expect to continue growing our teams and busy organisation over the following year. We've got depots in Tawa (Wellington), Christchurch and Cromwell and anticipate we will need more people with experience in the distribution sector, working on overhead line construction and maintenance. Skills /Experience
Essential:
Registered Electrician with current practicing licence
Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply (Electrical)
Demonstrable experience in construction and maintenance of HV equipment and an understanding of network protection is required
Experience reading and interpreting utility plans
Relevant network certifications
Current and valid driver's licence
Desirable:
Attainment or study towards Level 5 Qualification in Electrical Supply (Electrical) or equivalent
Class 2 heavy traffic licence
Forklift licence
