About The Role:

The financial analyst will serve as a key financial intermediary, providing in-depth analysis, accurate reporting, and strong support across multiple disciplines. Your work will be crucial in supplying precise and timely financial insights and modelling that support strategic planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and refine financial models to support business decision-making
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, P&L review, and generate meaningful reports
  • Offer insights for forecasts, identifying potential opportunities, risks, and strategic benefits
  • Manage the general ledger, including processing journal entries and reconciling accounts
  • Review, analyze, and report on payroll, ensuring precision and compliance
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to enhance forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Provide support for various finance functions, including fixed asset management and accounts payable processing


What You'll Need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in horticulture or a related industry
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query
  • Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Passion for solving complex financial challenges and deriving actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues
  • Eagerness to continue learning and grow within a dynamic industry
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes
