About The Role:
The financial analyst will serve as a key financial intermediary, providing in-depth analysis, accurate reporting, and strong support across multiple disciplines. Your work will be crucial in supplying precise and timely financial insights and modelling that support strategic planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and refine financial models to support business decision-making
Perform detailed financial analysis, P&L review, and generate meaningful reports
Offer insights for forecasts, identifying potential opportunities, risks, and strategic benefits
Manage the general ledger, including processing journal entries and reconciling accounts
Review, analyze, and report on payroll, ensuring precision and compliance
Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to enhance forecasting and budgeting processes
Provide support for various finance functions, including fixed asset management and accounts payable processing
What You'll Need:
Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in horticulture or a related industry
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query
Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
Passion for solving complex financial challenges and deriving actionable insights
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues
Eagerness to continue learning and grow within a dynamic industry
Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes
