At Civic Waste we're a long standing supplier of services to NZ cities. We contract to Councils and Private Companies for waste removal, road/hard surface sweeping, removing graffiti, water blasting, pavement cleaning and more!
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated drivers (must have experience in front end load compactor truck driving) to collect waste from our commercial customers throughout Auckland & Hamilton (2 days per week). You must be able to drive the rear end compactor truck, and will have the opportunity to multi-skill and learn to drive our sweeper and gantry trucks. Work is Monday to Friday (potentially including public holidays) with a minimum of 40 hours p/wk.
The successful candidate will require:
- A Full clean Class 4 Licence
- To be fit, reliable and highly motivated
- Outstanding driving and operational skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of customer service
- The ability to work effectively self managed
- A sound knowledge of the Auckland region
- To be computer literate
- To successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
