We’re looking for a Business Analyst - to join our team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Finance Manager - FinX, an area that supports many of our high growth businesses such as eCommerce, Cartology, Everyday NZ (Loyalty) and our core Digital and IT business units. Joining our team you’ll apply your curious mindset and thirst for learning, by taking accountability for providing support to the wider FinX Finance team. You’ll get the opportunity to develop your business partnering skills and gain an understanding of all areas supported by this Finance team.

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
Key activities you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting our Finance Managers and Senior Business Analysts with key month end close activities
  • Producing and maintaining our regular financial reporting, including analysis of financial performance versus target
  • Play a key role in supporting finance build the Annual Operating Plan (budget) and support our regular forecasting requirements
  • Ad hoc support and analysis across all portfolios under FinX Finance
  • Improve team ways of working and continuous improvement by introducing innovative analysis and improving processes through challenging the status quo.


About You | Mōu
To succeed in this role you will need to be someone looking to build their career in Finance, who is eager to learn, with strong presentation skills. You will have good attention to detail, including data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data.

If you’re the sort of individual who strives to always do the right thing for customers, team, our communities, and our business then we ought to connect.

To be successful in this position, you will have just completed or be working towards a CA / CPA Qualification, and be eager to learn and have experience working on Google suite.
