Job Description

Our client is a respected, third-generation family business with over 90 years in the transport industry. They supply and distribute a range of materials and services and are now looking for an experienced Yard Manager to join their team.

We're seeking someone with a strong transport background who understands the daily demands of yard operations. This is a hands-on role, so physical fitness and a willingness to assist with labouring duties are essential.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday from 7.00am-5.00pm (start/finish times may vary)

Pay Rate:
$30.00p/h

Daily duties will include:

  • Operating a 3-tonne diesel forklift
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Organising linehaul truck schedules and distribution
  • Some heavy lifting - up to 25kg
  • Computer data entry
  • General warehouse labouring duties as required


Applicants need:

  • Full class 1 driver's licence with F endorsement
  • Current forklift OSH certificate
  • Own reliable transport
  • Proven experience within the transport industry
