You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of client projects and program works within your designated area of responsibility within agreed timeframes and budgets. The role requires hands on field support, project planning, resourcing, scheduling, and financial delivery whilst complying to all safety requirements.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Support a culture of “Safety and Health above all else” by ensuring HSE Management Plans are effectively implemented and driving safety programs and initiatives that promote a safe workplace; ensuring compliance with Company and SHEQ policies, procedures, regulations and legislation
Ensuring business performance by managing and ensuring profitability of projects by taking corrective actions as required ensuring job costing systems are maintained, job records are captured.
Continuously identifying opportunities to reduce costs and realise actual savings
Ensure quality compliance of works and corrective actions are resolved in a timely manner to meet contractual commitments, schedules and payment obligations
Ensure sub-contractor relationships are robust and performance is regularly reviewed
Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships to engage stakeholders and enable the effective achievement of project deliverables including positive stakeholder feedback
Be a sound leader who encourages staff to deliver service excellence, develops their team by identifying skill gaps, addressing these, and ensuring team goals align with those of the programme and organisation goals
Field experience with equipment in the 2Degrees, Powerco, Transpower Telecommunications Networks would be beneficial
Solid knowledge in telecommunications or similar infrastructure industries
Proven experience in risk identification and management
Experience with managing and nurturing subcontractor and stakeholder relationships and engagement
Experience in budget and cost management (approvals, variations)
Strong time management, communication and record keeping
Experienced in working with team members and creating a culture of collaboration and strong safety
