Casual Team Member | Manurewa Pool and Leisure Centre
Working as a casual team member at our lovely Manurewa centre is an opportunity for you to make a real difference in the community.

We are looking for a casual team member who will be predominantly working as a customer support representative. You will be responsible for ensuring effective and professional frontline service to our diverse customers, dealing with a wide range of enquiries, both face-to-face and on the phone. You will find that no day is the same!

As a casual team member, you are responsible for:

• Provide a safe environment through proactive supervision and positive interaction with customers
• Educate and enforce pool rules
• Respond to any First Aid emergencies
• Ensure pool and surroundings are clean at all times
• Support other functions as required after training

This is an on-site position. We are currently looking for a casual team members.

Our centre opens from 5:30 am - 9:00 pm on weekdays and 8:00 am to 6:30 p on weekdays; the ability to work early night, late night, and weekends is crucial.

• You will have proven administration and communication skills, as well as the ability to use your initiative to resolve problems and satisfy your customers' needs.
• You’re outgoing and enthusiastic nature, combined with a passion for delivering excellence in customer service, is the key to success in this role.
• You are tech-savvy and able to navigate different Microsoft programmes.
• Having an Interest in our lifeguard and learn to swim function would be advantageous.

Pay Rate: 27.80/h+ (Our employer Kiwisaver contribution is an addition to base salary offered.)
