Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager or salesperson looking to take the next step to lead our sales team and drive our dealership's success. As an Auckland Central Nissan Assistant Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales department, managing a team of sales consultants, and ensuring that our customers receive the best service possible while adhering to the standards required by Andrew Simms Group and our manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Foster a customer-focused sales culture, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Monitor sales performance, track progress, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
Assist in closing sales deals and handling customer inquiries when necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote customer retention.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall dealership performance.
Stay informed about Nissan products, technology, and industry trends.
Adoption of AutoPlay, SalesLogs & Dealership Management Systems as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in automotive sales.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
