The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
We are a respite service in the community, supporting people with a lived experience of mental health and addiction. We're looking for a Team Coach to lead a team of support workers/kaimahi. You will provide regular coaching and be focused on inspiring every member of your team to exceed their personal best in everything they do with tāngata whaiora.

You will be joining our Pathways, Tauranga Wairua Adult Respite service. Responsible for interagency liaising, referrals, assessing, planning and support the implementation and care for tāngata whaiora, while fostering a nurturing and recovery focused environment.

This a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with an On-Call rotation approximately every three months.

You | Mōu
We are interested to hear from candidates who have a current NZ Practicing Certificate with mental health experience working with adults.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in working with and an understanding of trauma-informed care.
  • A current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
  • An understanding of what you need for your own wellbeing.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Uphold the integrity and mana of tāngata whaiora.
  • The ability to work independently and innovatively to engage tāngata whaiora and whānau.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with funders and stakeholders.
