They are a close-knit team with modern and centrally based offices and are in need of a strong Accounts Assistant to cover maternity leave.
The Role
As the Accounts Assistant you will report directly into the Management Accountant whilst working in a team of 4. This is an exciting opportunity to delve into the world of property where you will be managing the Payables function as well as working closely with the Senior Accountant to assist in producing the monthly accounts.
Your duties will include:
Processing of invoices on a daily basis in an automated environment
Approvals, coding and taking the invoices through to weekly batch payments
Supplier reconciliations and queries
Intergroup recharges
Bank reconciliations
Cash management
Balance sheet reconciliations
Processing of tax; GST and FBT
Your profile:
We are looking for a candidate with strong and proven skills across Accounts Payables, where you have worked in an automated environment previously. You will be able to pick up new systems with ease and you will possess strong excel skills, this is a must in this automated environment so confidence and experience with Pivot Tables and VLookups are key.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills are required as well as someone with the right attitude and commitment to learn and develop new or existing skill sets when it comes to month-end.
