You'll also be expected to maintain a quick pace, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manual Handling & Lifting: Move and lift heavy ingredients (up to 23 kg), as well as finished bread products, which will often require stacking at significant heights.
  • Stacking Products: Safely and efficiently stack packaged bread products on high shelves or pallets, requiring the ability to reach and work overhead.
  • Rapid Production Process: Assist with mixing, shaping, and transferring dough while maintaining fast pace and high quality.
  • Fast-Paced Equipment Operation: Operate production machinery to ensure smooth operation in a high-demand environment.
  • Packaging & Storing: Quickly package and store finished products, ensuring proper labelling and organization.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the work area organized and safe, adhering to all cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to meet daily production targets in a physically demanding, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks quickly and efficiently, including lifting and stacking items at heights.
  • Comfortable with lifting heavy items (up to 23 kg) and working on your feet for extended periods.
  • Physically able to reach, stack, and organize products at high levels.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks to meet production deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, able to work 12-hour shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to focus under pressure.
