We are looking for an enthusiastic Full-Time Kitchen Hand to work at our Defence site in Burnham, Canterbury.
Ko o kawenga/Your responsibilities:
Kitchen Hand duties include:
General food preparation
Assisting the Chef
Dishwashing
Lifting heavy items
Cleaning equipment, floors, chillers
Receiving deliveries and unloading
General cleaning duties as required
He kōrero mōu/About you:
If you're our ideal candidate,
You will be able to hit the ground running, hardworking, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
You must be willing to work weekends, able to follow instructions, and work to strict time frames.
A full driver's license is required.
Ideally you will already have some experience in a similar role and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to be train for one.
But most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
