Job Description

Our client is seeking a Business Change Specialist to join a dynamic fast paced multi-year transformation programme in the Bay of Plenty! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across two portfolio’s within the programme, developing and implement change plans that ensure the successful adoption and sustained utilisation of business models, processes, and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, change readiness, continuous improvement, and change communications.

What you'll do:

As a Business Change Specialist, you will be at the part of an awesome Change team who are driving transformational change across the programme and wider organisation. Your role will involve:

  • Develop comprehensive change management strategies that alight to the programme change deliverables
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders to build awareness, understanding, and support for change initiatives
  • Conduct regular stakeholder analysis to understand their needs and concerns
  • Lead the implementation of change initiatives, including the development of change-related deliverables especially the development and delivery of communications, training materials, and support mechanisms
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities, using metrics and feedback to make necessary adjustment.
  • Support the design and delivery of training required for embedding change activities.

With expert-level communication skills, you'll be able to facilitate discussions smoothly while solving problems using professional judgement. Your excellent interpersonal skills will help you build constructive relationships across all levels.

  • Commercial astuteness with the ability to identify and deliver business benefits
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Pragmatic customer-focused approach is complemented by high empathy levels.
  • Your presentation and facilitation skills are top-notch as you have experience presenting to all levels within an organisation and facilitating workshops with diverse groups.
  • Experience leading communications and engagement across complex transformation programmes.


**This is a global transformation programme so you wil need the ability to work outside of standard office hours at times for regional and global connection meetings**

**This is a Bay of Plenty based role and any candidates who interested in this role need to be prepared to travel regularly to the BoP***
