Safety 'n Action Ltd and Axiom Training, New Zealand's largest providers of workplace safety and driver licensing training, are on the lookout for an energetic Health & Safety Trainer to cover our Auckland sites in Highbrook and Albany. Your Role
As a Health & Safety Trainer, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Delivering in-depth training in workplace safety practices
- Leading sessions on fire safety, confined spaces, heights, MEWP, and more
- Handling key administrative tasks, including evaluations and assessments
- Playing a pivotal role in elevating safety standards across industries
- With a robust onboarding and induction process, we'll ensure you have the tools and support you need to thrive. And as our business grows, so will your opportunities - whether that's specialising further, expanding your expertise, or stepping into leadership.
What You'll Bring:
- Solid understanding of New Zealand Health & Safety legislation
- A Health & Safety qualification (preferred)
- Experience in training delivery, particularly in fire safety, heights, confined spaces and MEWP
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Working toward or holding NZQA assessment qualification (US4098)
- Background in construction, manufacturing, trades, or emergency services is a plus
