We are looking to secure a strong commercially driven procurement professional with corporate procurement experience. Driven by our Head of Property and Procurement, the team focus is on our customers, data, delivery, integrity and continuing to build strong and solid relationships with our suppliers. Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Lead Customer and Corporate Services, as Procurement Manager, your primary purpose is to lead medium as well as potentially major complexity deals within the Customer and Corporate Services Procurement Portfolio, overseeing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle from strategy, sourcing and contract life management by:

  • Developing and executing strategic and innovative category solutions
  • Building on external partnerships to deliver sustainable value
  • Collaborating with internal business partners to deliver on customer outcomes

Proven subject matter expertise in Corporate Procurement that covers Categories such as but not limited to Professional Services, HR and Consultancy, Property Services, Travel, Fleet and Marketing

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends
  • Effective communication skills to engage with internal teams and vendors
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and manage supplier relationships
  • A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrable experience in improving cost efficiency/effectiveness of organisations through procurement
