Job Description

Mechanical Fitter

  • Our client is an engineering specialist who are looking for qualified Mechanical fitters to join their team based in Dunedin
  • Based in Dunedin, the work is varied and involves the manufacture and assembly of new machinery and overhauls of existing machinery for their valued clients.


Skills and Experience required:

  • Qualified mechanical fitter, with ideally 5+ years' experience
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience an advantage
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, technical drawings and assembly procedures
  • Be confident in working with a range of mechanical tools


About You:

  • Good computer literacy and skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Excellent health and safety focused attitude
  • Physically fit and able
  • Have recent work references
  • Currently residing in and eligible to work permanently in NZ. These are not sponsored roles.
  • A prestart Drug and Alcohol screen and other pre-employment checks may be required for these roles.


On Offer:

  • $37-$41 hr depending on experience and qualifications
  • Regular ongoing full-time hours.
