About the Role:

Are you ambitious and ready for a challenge? BestStart Delta Ave is looking for an exceptional Centre Administrator to join our supportive, dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference while ensuring our centre runs smoothly and complies with Ministry of Education regulations.

You’ll be a key member of our team, responsible for managing parent accounts, processing payments, handling bookings, and providing excellent customer service. Your role will also involve meeting deadlines and ensuring our centre operates with precision and care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing parent accounts and processing payments.
  • Ensuring daily, weekly, and term deadlines are met.
  • Providing support and assistance to our National Admin Support team.
  • Interacting with tamariki when needed.
  • Managing data entry and processing direct debits.

Role Requirements:

To succeed, we are looking for someone who:

  • Is organised, meticulous, confident and adaptable.
  • Has a strong understanding of account processes and customer service.
  • Is proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills and a compassionate approach to Whānau.
  • Hours:


Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm).
