Peard Excavation Ltd, a Tauranga-based contracting company, delivers top-notch residential and commercial earthmoving services. We pride ourselves on high-quality work and a team of skilled, experienced operators. We’re now looking for a new team member to operate our well-maintained machinery, ranging from 1.7T to 13T excavators.
What We’re Looking For: Please read!!
Minimum 3 years’ excavator experience in residential and/or commercial earthmoving *** Specifically: Preparation for new residential and commercial buildings, including stripping topsoil, importing and compacting hardfill to engineers requirements, excavate footings, drilling for piles/retaining holes, trimming floors to grade in preparation for floor slabs. *** Ability to read plans, work out levels from plans, work to these levels, and meet engineering requirements.
Reliable, professional, and proactive with paperwork (timesheets, pre-starts).
Full NZ driver’s license (WTR a bonus).
Strong communication skills, respect for gear, and focus on health & safety.
Team-oriented, punctual, and tidy.
