Traffic Controllers We are actively taking expressions of interest for keen individuals to join our client's roading teams. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in and around the Manawatu. As either an STMS, TTM or TMO, you will be responsible for monitoring traffic, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and pedestrians.
Duties would include:
Monitoring and control traffic
Implementing traffic control plans
Communicating effectively with team members, drivers, and pedestrians.
Monitoring and responding to changing traffic conditions.
Days and Hours Days and hours are project-dependent and may vary day to day, our clients are typically working Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am - 6pm. Flexibility to work weekends or nights is also favourable.
Requirements
Valid Traffic Control Certification (TTM, TMO, STMS)
Physically fit and capable of working in all weather conditions
Able to pass an MOJ check and drug test
Great communication skills, and reliability is key
