Fabrication Team Leader Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of horticultural equipment. We are recruiting a permanent role for a Fabrication Team Leader to lead their stainless steel workshop. This is an exciting opportunity, starting up in 2025 to lead a skilled team and help drive innovation in agricultural equipment manufacturing.
Duties and responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of skilled fabricators
Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets the company's high standards, quality and safety.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
Monitor team performance, to provide training and support to develop team members skills
Be able to get hands on to help with the team's workload
Skills and experience required:
Proven experience in MIG, TIG and FCAW welding
10 years of proven experience in a fabrication position, working with stainless steel and mild steel.
Strong leadership skills to guide a team
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings
Excellent problem solving skills
Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations
Any relevant certifications or qualifications would be advantageous
