The Role

Based at our Wellington branch, our Freight Sorters drive the unloading and sorting of courier freight to meet inbound deadlines, ensuring that all freight meets connections to our courier drivers for delivery. In joining the Freight Sorter team, you are a crucial part of the mission to deliver our customers’ freight safely, on time, and to an outstanding standard of service.

Hours for this role are 3:30am - 7:30am Tuesday - Saturday. The rest of the weekend and Monday to yourself! If you’re looking to gain some experience in a vital industry like freight and logistics, we want to hear from you!

About you

  • You are physically fit – can lift up to 25kg – and enjoy working on your feet
  • You take pride in your reliability and strong work ethic
  • You have sound knowledge of local and regional geography
  • You value sense of humour and teamwork – you like motivating the people around you
  • You are highly committed to Health and Safety
